Nanolink hair extensions have revolutionized the world of hair extensions. Considered the safest and most natural-looking method on the market, nano links are tiny, nearly invisible beads that attach each hair extension to a small strand of your natural hair. Using no heat, the extensions are looped through beads and then clamped shut, providing a secure and long-lasting hold. How do I care for my extensions at home?
The following are key points to follow to maximize the care of your extensions and keep them lasting as long as possible.
Use sulfate-free and paraben-free hair products
Always use a heat protectant
Use a soft bristle brush to brush your hair
Don’t go to bed or put your hair up when wet
Don’t apply heat tools too close to the bonds
Pre-book maintenance appointments every 6 to 8 weeks
What can extensions do for me?
Not only can extensions add thickness to fine hair and length to short hair, but extensions can also fix a bad haircut and colour correct, adding colour without harsh chemicals or bleach.
How do I know how many bundles I need?
One bundles is 25 strands of hair. Each clients hair goals are different this is why I offer a free consultation to come into the salon sit down for 15-20 minutes with myself to discuss your hair goals and determine the healthy amount of bundles for the look you want to achieve. My motto is less is more and I don’t want to overwhelm your hair and we can always add more in the future.
What are the benefits to Nanolink extensions?
They are completely reusable for upwards of one year
No glue, heat or chemicals are required to attach or remove the extensions, allowing this method to be more gentle are on your natural hair
Nanos are lightweight, secure and comfortable and uses a strand-by-strand method, which allows it to be more natural-looking

Reduce the amount of times you wash, washing your hair often will strip your hair of its natural oils causing them to reproduce at a faster rate
Reduce the amount that you heat style, having hair extensions installed allows the extensions to take the brunt of the heat protecting your natural hair. Extensions can also hold of style a lot longer therefore not a putting heat on your hair every day.
Reduce bleaching and colouring, having the extensions installed can allow you to go longer in between your colour services, as well as your only ever need to do a partial or just a crown highlight, leaving the underneath completely untouched to grow healthy.

What is an installation and how long does it take?
Firstly, we would schedule you in for a free consultation to discuss your hair goals and come up with a plan is best suited for your hair. Colour matching is the first giveaway to having extensions therefore is crucial that I match your hair with my samples to have a very seamless colour match.
On day of install the nano extensions will be attached in a triangular section, this allows for even weight distribution all over the scalp with enough hair in each section even on all three sides, causing no tension on your natural hair, follicles for happy and healthy hair growth
The entire installation process from start to finish can take anywhere from one to two hours.
How often do I need maintenance appointment?
A maintenance appointment is required every 6 to 8 weeks. On average, humans shed 100-150 hairs per day. With the extensions now being installed the bead is preventing the hair from completely falling out, at the 6-8 week mark we remove each and every extension brush out all of the shed hair and reinstall the extensions on a healthy clean section.
What is the average cost per year for nanolink?
The cost varies between each client, and it depends on how many bundles you need. The average spend per year is around $1400-$1850 for the install and all the maintenance appointments.
